Markover Kennels has the land and space for hunting dogs to train, hunt and play. We train Labs, English Setters, and Pointers, as well as other hunting breeds.

 

Our gun dog training is a 1:1 program so that we can train each dog according to what they know and what they still need to learn. We believe that the best way to train a gun dog is to expose them to birds and hunting as soon and as often as possible. When they complete their training sessions, they must pass an evaluation to be a qualified hunting dog.

 

For our dog owners that hunt, we have access to an actual hunting preserve right next door, from September 15 to March 31. The fields are stocked with pheasants during hunting season.
