About Markover Kennels
Markover Kennels, a full service boarding, grooming and training facility, is located in Danielson, CT. It’s a friendly and safe facility where your dog will be cared for and respected.
Our goal is to provide quality dog care in a safe, friendly, and spacious environment. At Markover, we have learned that the reward for a hard day at play is a good night’s rest for our canine guests. All of our canine guests can train, play, and stay over at our spacious 300+ acres of preserve.
We specialize in gun dog training and we’re one of the few facilities in New England that provide these services for gun dog breeds.
Markover Kennels is a State Licensed, full service facility.
Meet Justin Olsen, the owner and operator of Markover Kennels
Justin has worked with dogs since he was 15 years old, beginning on the grounds of his grandfather’s business, Markover Hunting Preserve. After over 25 years of working with all breeds of dogs, he’s comfortable being hands-on with all breeds he works with. Justin familiarizes himself with each dog and their owners, so he can best assess how Markover Kennels can meet their needs.

Our employees are here because they simply love dogs, and we work together to give your dog the best experience possible here, their home away from home.
